Julie Bancroft to join charitable food organization as Chief Executive Officer on August 21st.
Lemoyne, PA. – Feeding Pennsylvania, the statewide association of Feeding America affiliated food banks, has announced that Julie Bancroft will be joining the organization as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Bancroft joins Feeding Pennsylvania with more than ten years of non-profit association executive leadership experience in agriculture and human services. A graduate of Penn State University, her career has focused on marketing, operations, and communications strategy with an emphasis on mission-driven advocacy over the last decade. She served as Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Apple Marketing Program before spending the previous six and a half years as the Chief Public Affairs Officer at the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV).
Preceding Bancroft in the role is Feeding Pennsylvania Chief Financial Officer Shea Saman; Saman held the position of Interim CEO after the egress of longtime CEO Jane Clements. Clements departed the organization to join Commonwealth Strategic Partners as the Vice President of Government Affairs in April 2023.
Bancroft will begin her tenure as CEO of Feeding Pennsylvania on August 21st, 2023.
