Share Food Program has strengthened their relationship with Garden of Health Food Bank, a non-profit organization which grows and distributes fresh produce and healthy foods to food banks and food pantries. Their fresh products are distributed to many of Share Food Program’s pantries throughout their coverage area in Montgomery County.
Carolyn Holl Watson of Garden of Health shared “We are thankful for the support of Share Food Program and the PASS Program. Over the past year, we have distributed over 6,200 pounds of fresh produce to Share Food Program which comes from our own garden in Harleysville, PA. Our volunteers help plant, weed, harvest, and maintain the entire garden and all the produce is donated to our food pantry partners.”
