The Harry & Jeannette Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank works with their PASS funds to support vendors in their community. Weinberg has regularly utilized PASS with Lucas Farms to support local produce growers and provide fresh, nutritious products to the clients in their region.
Jon Lucas of Lucas Farms stated, “We enjoy working with Weinberg and their staff. Our relationship with the food bank helps find an outlet for our products when we have an abundant supply. Weinberg does exceptional work so nothing goes to waste and we don’t have to throw anything away. Our partnership helps us support local farmers in our area – it’s a real ‘Win-Win.’”
