The Greater Washington County Food Bank partnered with Emerald Valley Artisans Cheese to purchase locally-sourced Mixed Dairy Boxes utilizing Pennsylvania Agricultural Surplus System (PASS) funds. These boxes help the Food Bank achieve their goal of working with Washington County producers to help their neighbors in need.
Alisa Fasnacht of Emerald Valley Artisans shared, “I’m a farmer and I want to connect farmers and the food they produce with people who need it. It’s a program where everyone wins. Farmers have a market and consumers get fresh, nutritious food they need.”
