Tell Congress: Don’t Cut SNAP & Medicaid!

Congress is voting on a harmful bill that would reduce federal funding for essential food and health care programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid. If enacted, these proposed cuts would take vital support away from millions of our neighbors including children, seniors and veterans.

At a time when the cost of living is rising and food insecurity remains high, cutting these programs would make it even harder for people to access the food and health care we all need to thrive.

Shifting the cost to states is not a tenable solution. In PA, this proposal would require $1.1 billion in new state spending by 2028—equivalent to 396 meals.
