Throughout September, Feeding Pennsylvania, local food banks, and community partners are encouraging everyone to take action to help end hunger. Together, we can make a difference for our neighbors. Find Your Part Fill a Glass with Hope Kickoff Press Event The Kickoff Press Event at the PA Farm Show is a press conference and event that highlights and celebrates the collective impact our program has on providing nutritious Pennsylvania milk to our neighbors facing hunger. Get Involved Upcoming Events Foood Bank and Feeding PA Events 8/31/26: Hunger Action Month Kickoff Press Conference Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Westmoreland Food Bank, and Feeding PA will come together to kick off Hunger Action Month at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank at 10:00 am on August 31, 2026. 9/2/26: Second Harvest of Lehigh Valley Hunger Action Month Kickoff at the Great Allentown Fair We’re excited to be back at The Great Allentown Fair on opening night this year! We’re looking for volunteers to help collect food donations from fairgoers on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Your time and support will help provide meals for neighbors facing hunger across our community. Every effort helps Mercer County Food Bank prepare for our busiest season and ensures our neighbors have access to the food they need. Stay tuned for more details. 9/29/26: HUNGER ACTION DAY 9/29/26: Hunger Action Night at Black River Farms with Second Harvest of Lehigh Valley We invite you to stand against hunger with us during Hunger Action Night at Black River Farms in Bethlehem, PA on September 29, 2026 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Held during Hunger Action Month, this meaningful evening brings together community leaders, businesses, advocates, and supporters. Your attendence is helping place food on tables, supporting families during difficult times, and reminding our neighbors that they are not alone. Tickets are $50 and include small bites, a paint and sip experience and live music from Jeni Hackett. The evening will also include a wine pull and a silent auction!
