Tomorrow, Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) Secretary Dr. Val Arkoosh and Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Cheryl Cook will visit Downtown Daily Bread to discuss how the Shapiro Administration is working with community partners to help Pennsylvanians experiencing food insecurity and how Pennsylvanians can support their family, friends, and neighbors who may not have enough to eat each day.
According to the latest data available from Feeding America, south central Pennsylvania is home to more than 157,000 people who experience food insecurity every day, including nearly 25,000 in Dauphin County alone.
